We Need You

We can only undertake our work with the support of the organisations and individuals who fund us. We’d really like to expand the work we do and have lots of ideas for exciting new projects but this means we need to raise more funds.

Whatever your reason for supporting Friends and Families, we are thrilled you have chosen us. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our supporters, we are able to help hundreds of families every year.

Fundraising is huge fun, and there are many ways you can make a difference to the lives of the families and children we support and we’ll be here to guide you along the way.  

Whether fundraising on your own, as a group, or as an organisation, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing to support Friends and Families.

Organise an event

Do you fancy holding your own fundraising event for Friends and Families? Perhaps you can get a group of friends together and organise a coffee morning, pamper evening or even a quiz night down your local pub – whatever your idea we would love to hear from you and give you moral support and help promote your event.

Collection boxes

If you own a pub, shop, restaurant, shop would you like one of our collection boxes? 

Each collection box raises on average £60 a year just from loose change – so its great way to raise money for the charity.

celebrations

Getting married? Celebrating a birth, birthday or anniversary?  Mark a special occasion by raising money to help fund vital services for children living with disabilities. 

Instead of buying you a birthday, wedding or Christmas present for example you can ask your friends and family to make a donation to Friends and Families. You will be helping families of a disabled child get the hope and practical help they need, every step of the way.

Corporate Fundraising

We want all our corporate partnerships to be exactly that; a partnership. We want you to fundraise and raise awareness of our charity but we also want you, your employees and your business to benefit too. As well as creating fun opportunities for your employees to work together as a team to fund-raise, we will also provide you with promotion on our social media accounts, fundraising newsletters and press releases.
