Youth Adventures
JOINING THE CLUB IS FREE AND ALL OUR ACTIVITIES ARE SUBSIDISED
Youth Adventures is a group for young people aged 14 – 25, with a disability, to socialise with other young people in a safe environment, promoting independence and fun! You may want to gain confidence in going out with a group of people, or to gain some new life skills as you get a bit older. Or just to be in a safe space where you can chill out with other young people!
We offer a range of activities including drop in youth nights, visits to sports matches, day trips, workshops and so much more. It is an opportunity to make friends, learn skills and try something new!
As part of gaining independence, we would like our Youth Adventures group to have input into organising our activities, so if there is something you would like to do then please let us know.
We meet once a month on a Friday evening or Saturday daytime, and once a week during school holidays. All our sessions are highly staffed, so there will always be someone to support and listen.
YOUTH ADVENTURES CONSENT FORM
We ask our Youth Adventures group members to submit a Consent Form. The details in this form ensures the support we provide to your child during activity sessions is as beneficial to them as possible and enables the young people to continue attending these sessions independently.
